Dr. Michele Wright received special honor for her numerous successes and achievements in career and life from the Arkansas District Council (ADC) of the 18th Episcopal District Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (Emeritus Bishop Leodis Warren; Presiding Diocesan Bishop Alfonso Madden and First Lady Evangelist Priscilla Madden) and the ADC Missionary & Christian Women’s Auxiliary (President Evangelist Everline Tolbert) during the Council’s annual Spring Session (April 9-13, 2013) held at Greater First Pentecostal (Host Pastor Jerry Warren and First Lady Carol Warren) on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Hats Off “Dear Success Seekers”!!! I was honored to not only attend Sister Friends United, Inc. “Stand Strong” Women’s Hat Luncheon, held at the Central Arkansas Main Library on Saturday, March 30, 2013, but elated to walk away with the coveted “Best Hat” competition award. I also walked away with a revelation that a hat is like success, uniquely created and worn!!! There is no “one size fits all” design and both success and hats come in different sizes, colors and styles!!! Hats’ like success are personal and are defined by the one who dares to wear them!!! Success Expert Dr. Michele Wright was featured among some of Arkansas’ finest authors during Saturday’s (February 9, 2013) “Reading and Writing for Success” Festival held at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, Arkansas. The organizers of the event say literacy, reading and writing can be used as a weapon to fight violent crimes in urban areas. Literary consultant Patrick Oliver says advanced literacy is so important now more than ever. Dr. Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. officially assumed the office of Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Ozarks-Arkansas Region of the American Red Cross on September 12, 2012. Dr. Wright will oversee the Red Cross’ blood services to 52 hospitals in Arkansas, southwestern Missouri and the greater Memphis area. Notable Awarding Winning Author and Arkansas Resident Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. was the official appointed “Coin Tosser” to start the game between the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions and Langston University Oklahoma Lions during the Delta Classic 4 Literacy 2012 college football game held at War Memorial Stadium‘s AT&T Field on September 1, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Fitz Hill created this event, then known as the Literacy Classic, while serving as head football coach at San Jose State University.
